The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected a team of Gabonese officials to handle the CAF Champions League preliminary-round first-leg meeting between FC San Pedro of Côte d’Ivoire and Rivers United of Nigeria.
The match will take place on Saturday, September 5, at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm local time, which is 5:00 pm in Nigeria.
Cregue Flaury Moukagni will take charge of the game as the centre referee. He will be supported by fellow Gabonese officials Amos Abeigne Ndong and Junior Assoughe, while Pierre Ghislain Atcho has been named the fourth official.
CAF has also appointed Benin’s Innocent Atindehou as the Match Commissioner, with Algerian Mohamed Lamine Benaissa serving as the Referee Assessor.
The encounter is the opening leg of the preliminary round in the 2026/27 CAF Champions League. Rivers United will be looking to leave Côte d’Ivoire with a favourable result before the two sides meet again in the return fixture.
